To be successful as a “Senior Credit Risk, CCPs and Funds Analyst”, you should have experience with:
- Responsible for managing assigned portfolio of Clearing Counterparties and Stock Exchanges
- Undertake ongoing portfolio surveillance/monitoring encompassing the following key activities:
- Undertake fundamental credit analysis on assigned portfolio.
- Undertake associated regulatory requirements like attesting regulatory reports, grade attestations etc.
- Ensure all relevant Credit Risk policies, standards and procedures are followed.
- Ensure that credit limits, internal grades and other credit parameters are aligned with the framework.
- On-going monitoring of portfolio for material developments affecting credit quality and the initiation of appropriate action. Monitor portfolio/industry news and identify early warning signs in the assigned portfolio.

Purpose of the role
To safeguard the financial health of the bank by identifying, analysing, and mitigating potential credit risks associated with lending activities.
Accountabilities
- Analysis of financial data, including income, assets, liabilities, credit history, and economic trends, to determine the risk of default.
- Monitoring of existing loan portfolios to identify potential credit deterioration or early warning signs of default.
- Recommendation of loan approvals, rejections, or adjustments based on risk evaluation and bank lending policies.
- Development and implementation of credit risk mitigation strategies, including collateral management, loan restructuring, and workout plans.
