Join us as AVP Remittance, where you will:

  • Manage Trade products including Export, Import, Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and Import Remittances.
  • Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and internal compliance frameworks.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders for seamless transaction processing and issue resolution.
  • Ensure timelines, completeness, and accuracy across all deliverables.
  • Prepare and circulate MIS reports and follow up for closure of open items.
  • Support technology enhancements and participate in core banking system upgrades, including:
    • Functional Specification Document (FSD) review and sign-off
    • UAT preparation (test case creation, review, and sign-off)
    • Monitoring UAT execution
    • User training
    • Process manual updates
    • Dress rehearsal and live proving activities

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Have strong knowledge of Trade Finance processes and banking applications.
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and coordination capabilities.
  • Be detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Be adaptable and capable of managing high workloads under tight timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to risk and control frameworks without compromising policies and regulations.

Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Trade processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desirable Skills / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree, preferably in Commerce, Finance, or Accounts.
  • Experience in Corporate Banking Trade Operations.

Purpose of the role

To support Payments with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support with day-to-day payments initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
  • Monitoring the banks payment operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with the relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate payments processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in payments processes.
  • Development and implementation of payments procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on payments performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in payments Services.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve payments efficiency and effectiveness.
