Join us as an Outsourcing Governance APACMEA at Barclays, responsible for supporting the successful delivery of location strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality and governance standards. You'll manage the APACMEA Outsourcing Governance and service management framework for internal service provision including management of contractual documentation, service change governance and performance reporting, collaborating with business stakeholders and facilitating a consistent and efficient approach across all global Service Management offices and Supplier Management team.

To be successful as an Outsourcing Governance APACMEA you should have experience with:  

Essential Skills:

  • Prior experience in implementing outsourcing regulations in APACMEA regions - APRA, RBI, SEBI, MAS, HKMA, TWSE, CBUAE, CMA, CMB, etc. 
  • Excellent understanding of third party risk management/outsourcing governance and service management with ability to demonstrate a risk management mindset, and excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in a matrix organization.
  • Highly organized and structured, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Poses an audit-ready, documentation-driven and control focused mindset.
  • Self-starter with ability to identify and engage stakeholders, prioritize activities to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Management of APACMEA Outsourcing Governance Process for both internal and external services, including oversight and maintenance of contractual agreements for internal service provisioning and the APACMEA Outsourcing register.
  • Lead outsourcing governance forums and stakeholder engagement with regional /Local Service AE, Compliance, Supplier Management, Outsourcing Risk Officers and global counterparts to ensure transparent escalation, issue tracking, and timely remediation of control gaps or breaches.
  • Drive and manage the lifecycle of the outsourcing arrangement from onboarding, on-going monitoring to  termination.
  • Maintenance of APACMEA outsourcing governance documentation.
  • Support outsourcing audits including regulatory inspections, thematic reviews, policy updates and process re-engineering to improve efficiency and reduce outsourcing risk.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve outsourcing governance and internal service management efficiency and effectiveness.  Ensures local nuances are articulated and addressed by global service management framework and Procurement.
  • Identification of areas for improvement to continually evolve internal service management through process improvement and automation, and work with business stakeholders to implement changes.
