Barclays Capital Inc. seeks Director, Fixed Income (FI) Sales in New York, NY (multiple positions available):
1. Provide daily oversight and coverage to Chilean Institutional and Corporate clients trading currencies (G10 and LatAm), interest rates (G10 and LatAm – with a focus on Chilean rates & FX), and other products including repo, credit default swaps and bond trading.
2. Ensure connectivity between our client base and our multiple trading teams to ensure seamless execution and risk management of transactions.
3. Communicate with clients to provide information on financial options to keep them informed about transactions.
4. Evaluate and determine customers' financial services needs and prepare proposals to sell services that address these needs.
5. Work cooperatively with various functions, including trading, structuring, legal and compliance across the value chain to deliver a seamless execution to clients while factoring in the regulatory, market, credit, legal and crossborder considerations.
6. Work with Structuring and Trading teams to provide value added products to our client base.
7. Direct the organization of meetings, roadshows, and roundtables.
8. Responsible for stakeholder management and leadership, establishing and maintaining key relationships, including with sales, trading and structuring partners across Macro and Credit as well as infrastructure partners in Operations, Legal, Credit, and Onboarding.
9. Responsible for providing Barclays’ FI Sales division in the U.S. with critical Chilean Institutional counterparty management, which will facilitate risk management and increased profitability.
10. Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
11. Ensure connectivity with Chilean Institutional counterparties to manage risk and increase profitability.
12. Manage up to 4 direct reports, overseeing their work to ensure business deliverables are met timely and accurately.
13. Up to 15% domestic and international travel required.

Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $350,000 per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $385,000 per year
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
This position is eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral Program.
