Explore locationBarclays is seeking an Equity Capital Markets Analyst – Energy Transition Group. In this role, you will support the origination and execution of corporate bond transactions, with a focus on Investment Grade clients across the Energy Transition sectors. This position offers the opportunity to apply ample corporate finance and analytical skills, combined with a solid understanding of global markets, to help clients raise capital effectively. As an Analyst, you will be part of a client facing team, where good communication skills are essential. The group is focused on originating new transactions and helping companies optimize their capital structures. You will work closely with Investment Banking Coverage and teams across Global Finance to deliver a full suite of financing and risk management solutions.
To be successful as an Equity Capital Markets Analyst – Energy Transition Group, you should have experience with:
Background in Investment Banking, ideally with direct experience in Equity Capital Markets, and a considerable understanding of equity markets, interest rates, macroeconomics, and corporate finance
Quantitative and assessing skills, with the ability to interpret market and corporate data to develop insightful client solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
Relevant licensing, including SIE, Series 79, and Series 63
Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well contending priorities, and meet tight deadlines
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Robust industry knowledge and experience that complements product and market expertise
Exposure to additional Global Finance products, including derivatives, equity linked financing solutions, and other complementary instruments
A collaborative leadership mindset, with the ability to guide while fostering a good teamwork culture

Minimum Salary: $110,000
Maximum Salary: $135,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

To raise capital and manage the financial risk of clients, including financial advisory services, identification and origination of market opportunities, research, economic analysis.
