Explore locationJoin Barclays as a FX Derivatives Quant where you will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing and supporting quantitative models used for valuation and risk management for the FX derivatives business. The candidate will work closely with the trading desk to provide cutting-edge valuation and risk management solutions, with IT to build strategic technology platforms for the bank, and with controllers to document, validate, and confirm ongoing performance of the models. The Quantitative Analytics FX team has members in London, New York, Prague and Singapore working together in a global team. The role here is to work in New York as a member of that team.
To be successful as a FX Derivatives Quant, you should have:
Post-graduate qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance or another quantitative field.
Previous experience in a global financial services firm with relevant experience for options modelling
Knowledge and profession experience in both C++ and Python programming
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Specific experience of FX options derivative modelling
Knowledge of additional languages such as Java, C#, or XSLT
Advanced financial mathematics background

This role is located in New York
Minimum Salary: $155,000
Maximum Salary: $225,000

To provide quantitative and analytical expertise to support trading strategies, risk management, and decision-making within the investment banking domain, applying quantitative analysis, mathematical modelling, and technology to optimise trading and investment opportunities.
