Explore locationEmbark on a transformative journey as an Angular Developer. At Barclays, our vision is clear – to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. In this role, you’ll build high-performance, real-time trading interfaces used by fixed income and emerging markets traders. You’ll sit close to the business, shaping trader-facing workflows, prototyping UX changes, and delivering responsive UIs that support fast, informed execution in live market conditions.
You’ll work closely with backend engineers, product partners, and trading users, helping migrate functionality from legacy platforms into the new Markets One ecosystem while maintaining speed, reliability, and usability.
To be successful as an Angular Developer, you should have experience with:
Building real-time, high-performance user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript
Developing OpenFin-based desktop applications for trader workflows and multi-window environments
Creating streaming UI components that handle large, fast-moving datasets with minimal latency
Integrating front-end applications with backend services and real-time data feeds
Using GitLab for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience designing UIs for low-latency pricing and execution workflows
Working knowledge of resilient UI design patterns for real-time systems
Good communication skills when partnering with engineers, product teams, and trading stakeholders

This role is located in New York, NY.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
