Explore locationEmbark on a transformative career journey as a full-time Physical Security Control Room Operator within our Joint Operations Center (JOC) Physical Security team at Barclays. In your role as a Physical Security Control Room Operator, you’ll be part of a team that monitors emerging threats and risks across our global footprint. In this role, you will support incident response by tracking, reporting, and escalating critical information to senior team members and stakeholders. Your vigilance and coordination will help prevent, protect, and deter potential risks—and enable swift action when needed to safeguard our people, assets, and operations.
To be successful in your role as a Physical Security Control Room Operator, you should have:
Experience with Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS) and Video Monitoring Systems
Security Control Room / Command Center experience
Experience in handling security inquiries and delivering quality incident reports to senior stakeholders in a timely manner
Experience in Physical Security, Incident Response, and Security Systems
Advances documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail and ability to evaluate, triage, and immediately escalate security-related inquiries, incidents, and concerns accordingly

The ability to assimilate processes and procedures into practice
The ability to research and evaluate multi-layered and varied data, producing concise timely reports and relevant recommendations
Technical, administrative, and organizational skills
The ability to work with a sense of urgency and contribute to team goals

This role is located in New York, NY.
Minimum Salary: $50,000.00
Maximum Salary: $75,000.00
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
