Barclays Capital Inc. seeks QA Macro Rates Muni VP in New York, New York (multiple positions available):
1. Maintaining and improving Muni derivatives models in the C++ analytics library and extending them to support SOFR index products.
2. Liaising with US Municipal derivatives trading desk on issues ranging from risk management, ad-hoc product analysis, production rollout, desk support and library release.
3. Enhancing model management through automation and development of new approaches.
4. Supporting the Muni Derivatives desk including short rate model daily global calibration, PL explaining resolution and model reconciliation.
5. Improving and maintaining Muni Total Return Swap pricing, infrastructure and maintaining US Municipal Cash analytics.
6. Contributing to the general US rates modelling (swaps, option and exotics) in the C++ analytics Library.
7. Developing and maintaining dialogue with colleagues, model owners, validation teams and other external stakeholders on model developments, reviews, rollout, maintenance and
usage.
8. May telecommute.
Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $235,000 per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $258,500 per year
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
This position is eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral Program.
