To be successful as a Structured Cabling Design Engineer, you should have experience with:
Supporting the global design team and governing the end‑to‑end delivery of the global book of work
Ensuring all programs meet defined deliverables, adhere to global design standards, and support scalable, repeatable deployments across the portfolio
Delivering consistency in design outcomes
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience in the specification, design & delivery of ICT infrastructure and Structured Cabling Systems
Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification or equivalent is preferred
Ability to create designs to meet customer requirements and accommodate unique installation tasks
Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Wi-Fi, AV Systems, in-building cellular/DAS, security infrastructure, BMS and Smart Buildings/IOT
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in New York, NY and Whippany, NJ.
Minimum Salary: $ 140,000
Maximum Salary: $ 200,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
