As an Engineering Lead, you will design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
To be a successful Engineering Lead, you should have experience with:
Leading and mentoring engineering teams to deliver scalable, cloud-native applications for asset servicing operations. Translating complex business requirements into robust technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders across business, product, and operations.
Managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations, ensuring alignment with technical roadmaps and service level agreements. Establishing and enforcing engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes to drive technical excellence.
Overseeing project delivery timelines, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure successful outcomes within scope, time, and budget. Evaluating and implementing new technologies to enhance the asset servicing platform, with a focus on security, compliance, and performance.
Applying agile principles and practices to foster a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.
Additional relevant skills given below are highly valued:
Direct development experience with Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices). Hands-on expertise with modern software development practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, and API-first design.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and AI Engineering with Coding Agents, Agentic Frameworks, LLM Platforms etc. Understanding of financial services, especially Post Trade Asset Servicing operations (corporate actions, income, tax, custody).
Experience supporting and developing engineering talent, including performance reviews, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with data engineering concepts (Kafka, Snowflake, SQL/PLSQL) and optimizing distributed systems for reliability and cost.
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to drive change and transformation within technology teams.

This role is based in Pune.
