To be successful as a Tech Lead Central Risk Book - VP, you should:
Demonstrate experience in designing and implementing high-performance, scalable Java applications leveraging AI-assisted agentic coding tools, with considerable knowledge of industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and secure coding practices
Support cross-functional collaboration with traders, quants, and business stakeholders to define requirements, devise solution strategies, and deliver business-aligned technology solutions
Ensure and develop software developers while fostering a culture of technical excellence, code quality, and knowledge sharing through mentorship and code reviews
Drive strategic technical direction and oversee long running projects, making recommendations for change while balancing short and long-term goals
Apply sophisticated evaluative thinking to solve multi-dimensional problems, assess and mitigate risks, and make strategic choices that impact long-term outcomes
Other highly valued skills include:
Experience with real-time risk and PnL component and integration with quantitative libraries in financial services environments
Validated ability to provide second-level application support and work directly with trading desks on revenue-generating business projects
Ample influencing and negotiating skills to build trusting partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across the enterprise
Demonstrated experience of staying current with industry technology trends and actively contributing to organizational technology communities
Demonstrated influence behaviors aligned with listening authentically, energizing teams, aligning across the enterprise, and developing others while upholding organizational values

This role is located in our New York, NY.
Minimum Salary: $170,000
Maximum Salary: $230,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

To lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, driving technical excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.
