Explore locationJoin Barclays as a Vice President, Subsidiary Coverage team, covering our Insurance, Funds & Sponsors in ICB Americas, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth strategy: partnering directly with client treasury departments to deliver tailored solutions across debt, trade, FX, payments, and liquidity management products. Your focus will be on driving revenue on the US book, partnering closely with Global Coverage teams, identifying cross-product opportunities, and supporting client meetings with a consultative, sales-driven approach. You should understand the complexity of the portfolios and can translate client inquiries into banking solutions. This is a high-visibility role where your experience and energy will help shape how we grow ICB Americas and serve this critical client segment.
To be successful as a Vice President, Subsidiary Coverage you should have experience with:
Working with insurance or funds & sponsors clients and their treasury functions across investment and corporate banking or transaction banking
Generating income through Transaction Banking, FX and debt products aligned with the portfolio needs
Certainty and clarity in supporting client meetings with a solutions-oriented, commercial mindset
Ensuring execution across internal teams and deliver highly detailed financial solutions
Business development within a multi-layered financial institution, knowing how to align internal stakeholders to win a mandate
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience working in an international bank, leveraging relationships across geographies
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks impacting clients within the sector
Strategic thinking with the ability to spot cross-product opportunities and drive multi-product engagement
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in New York, NY.
Minimum Salary: $145,000
Maximum Salary: $215,000
