We’re looking for a senior Data Modeller to define, lead, and evolve the conceptual, logical, and physical data architectures that power our strategic data products across BUK. In this role, you’ll set the modelling direction for multiple domains, ensure semantic and regulatory alignment, and translate complex business and regulatory needs into high‑quality, scalable data models. To be successful as a Data Modelling VP, you should have experience with:

Defining modelling standards, metadata structures, lineage requirements, and CDE frameworks that meet audit and regulatory expectations.
Driving modelling quality, versioning, semantic clarity, and cross‑domain consistency at scale.
Partnering with engineering teams to shape physical schemas, optimise performance, and guide workload placement across cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks).
Influencing senior stakeholders across Product, Controls, Architecture, and Engineering to align on business rules, semantic definitions, and strategic priorities.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Expertise in SQL, complex schema design, and performance optimisation in cloud environments.
Strong understanding of data governance, control frameworks, lineage, cataloguing, and regulatory traceability.
Experience shaping canonical models, data dictionaries, and enterprise‑wide semantic standards.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to translate complex models into clear narratives for senior technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
