Join us as a Transformation Lead at Barclays, where you'll oversee the allocation of projects, ensuring alignment with team priorities and resources. As a manager of others, you will help develop their skills and ensure alignment with business objectives. You will gain a deep understanding of challenges and guide teams through the end-to-end operational change process. A key part of the role will involve coaching and developing individuals, enhancing the maturity of the change function, and driving the delivery of operational change and strategic investment. You will manage business case preparation, problem statements and ensure solutions are fit for purpose. Additionally, you will oversee the delivery of projects, including requirements gathering, testing, approvals for go-live and impact measurement. You’ll play a crucial role in the Transformation and Change Leadership Team, risk and issue management, ensuring adherence to change standards and mitigating risks while maintaining control. With a focus on product ownership, stakeholder management and a strong emphasis on operational risk awareness, you will facilitate successful change initiatives across the organisation.

This role is hybrid and can be based in Northampton, Glasgow, or Sunderland.

Purpose of the role

To collaborate with stakeholders and use data and MI to identify process optimisation opportunities for capacity creation in relevant business areas. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and implementation of strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of banking operations, using data led insights.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve performance & optimisation   efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Development of reports and presentations on performance & optimisation and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments, and collaboration with stakeholders across the bank to provide recommendations for change and improvement within performance and optimisation processes.
  • Development and implementation of analytics and reporting performance & optimisation to mitigate risks and maintain efficient operations.
  • Identification of capacity creation in operations using data and Management Information.
