To be successful as a Test Automation Engineer, you should have experience with:
Strong programming experience in Java (OOP principles, exception handling, collections, etc.).
Proven hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation.
Experience with TestNG / JUnit for test management.
Experience with automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven, hybrid).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Good understanding of REST API testing and integration into test suites.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito), able to write unit test.
Contract testing experience (e.g., Pact or similar).
Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of performance testing or security testing is a plus.

The role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
