Explore locationJoin us as Vice President Data Analysis & SME Lead at Barclays, where you will play a pivotal role in bringing strategic direction, advanced analytical and leadership expertise working towards ensuring that the implementation of several Corporate Bank initiatives align with & adhere to the Corporate Strategy.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Proficient in analyzing complex data sets and interpreting results to provide actionable insights.
Proficient in writing SQL and NoSQL queries, with hands-on experience in data modeling and query optimization for both relational and non-relational databases.
Expertise in using data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
Skilled in creating clear and informative visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of statistical methods and their applications in data analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
Experience in leading and mentoring a team of data analysts.
Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align data analysis with business objectives.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications in predictive analytics.
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
Good understanding of Data Engineering and Data Analytics in the Financial domain.
Knowledge of data governance practices and data quality management.
Experience with advanced statistical techniques such as regression analysis, clustering, and hypothesis testing.

The Location of this role is Pune.
Purpose of the role
To manage the efficient delivery of large-scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle, adhering to agreed time, budget and quality requirements.
