Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

  • Business Analysis for Investment Banking Capital Markets Domain

  • Experience working on Data modelling in IB Domain, Capital Markets across Securities, OTC and Derivatives products

  • Experience working on data attributes used to define various data models like Trades, Securities Positions and Cash, Margin, Asset servicing, Confirms

  • Experience working within Operations across front or middle or back office data

  • Experience with No SQL preferably Mongo DB and data/log analysis

  • Clear communication and business writing skills

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Problem solving skills to review system and operational issues and provide a solution by working across various teams.

  • Having operations background is a plus.

  • Experience working with Reconciliation or Exception management systems is a plus

Overall purpose of role

  • Provide Business Analysis and Data modelling design solutions for Exception management application as part of target state architecture within post trade services space for Operations and technology IT supporting Equities, Institutional and Prime businesses in capital markets domain.   

  • Planning and facilitating requirements gathering sessions with the global front, middle and back office teams and come up with solution to build out exception management platform to provide a single point interface to various settlement systems.

  • Capturing and preparing business and functional requirements using structured analysis techniques. Facilitating business comprehension and sign off of requirements documentation.

  • Managing business interaction through iterative development and testing cycles. Working with stakeholders to resolve data quality issues in Production environment

This role is based in Pune.

Purpose of the role

To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities. 

Accountabilities

  • Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
  • Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
  • Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
  • Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
