Embark on a transformative journey as a Vice President – Engineering Lead, where you'll spearhead the evolution of our wholesale credit tech team, the goal of this role is to bridge the gap between technical execution and team leadership, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that align with organizational goals. You will act as both a technical expert and a leader, driving innovation, efficiency, and collaboration within the engineering team. Your responsibilities include coaching and mentoring team members, fostering teamwork, participating in hiring, and managing performance reviews. Your role also encompasses planning and executing projects, managing risks, and communicating with stakeholders. Your strategic contributions include shaping the technical roadmap and recommending new tools and technologies. You need to have hands-on development, including coding, code reviews, and debugging, particularly with KAFKA or similar frameworks.
To be successful in this role as a Vice President- Engineering Lead, you should possess the following skillsets:
- Hands on experience on enterprise level distributed system design and development involving microservices, micro frontend, containerization, infrastructure design knowledge, cloud computing, Security & database design.
- Strong technical expertise in financial domain (Preferable Credit Risk Domain), Architecture and Design (At least handled solutioning of ~2 complex distributed projects/systems).
- Technical skills in .NETCORE, C#, SQL, Angular, REACT, JAVA Spring Boot (Desirable), Any UI framework, Oracle/MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DevOps CI/CD.
- Experienced in AGILE viz SAFE.
- Working knowledge and experience in KAFKA, IBM AMQ, Application performance management tool, Log Analytics, Kibana.
- Working knowledge and understanding of application design pattern and data patterns.
- Leadership, shareholder and Project Management.

- Evaluation and enhancement of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize team productivity.
