Your role is to provide Engineering Leadership to one or more feature teams, helping accelerate the Transformation program. This is a multiyear initiative that is now in the second year and requires scaling up of the Engineering capacity and competency of the team. As an Engineering manager, you shall ensure that the teams deliver business milestones as committed and raise the bar on the engineering quality and team productivity.
To be successful as anEngineering Manager, you should:
Be well versed with Agile ways of working
Iterative delivery using agile methodology, in collaboration with the program team.
Work closely with the Business, Solutions and Design colleagues to build a healthy backlog.
Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset resulting raising the bar across various measures not limited to quality and efficiency of your deliverables.
Experience in ways of working transformation, agile/scaled agile adoption
Have managed a team of 8-15 personnel,
Ensuring high quality of delivery, meeting technology and delivery controls.
Innovating and improving individual and team performance.
Challenge, inspire and mentor your teams.
Build and maintain a high morale within the team
Strong Engineering skills
Ability to provide technical solutions to business needs using Java/J2EE and web-based technologies like Angular or React.
Hands on involvement in building, reviewing and deploying solutions.
Data architecture and integration pattern experience would be an added advantage.
Has a good understanding of new age technology.
Experience in Banking and Finance domain experience, preferably Banking.
You shall be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
The location of the role is Pune, IN.

To lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, driving technical excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.
