To be successful as a "Full Stack Developer" you should have experience with:

  • Good 5-8+ years of experience of developing Web applications using Reactjs / Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, ES6, CSS,bootstrap/material, NPM/ NodeJS, Webpack,Jest/Jasmine/karma
  • Good 5-8+ years of experience of developing middleware / backend applications using Java 8 / JEE
  • Good 5-8+ years of experience using Spring 3/4 (including knowledge across Core Spring Framework, Sprint boot, Spting MVC and  Spring Security , unit testing, mocking frameworks and caching concepts clarity
  • Good 5-8+ years of experience of ORM tools like Spring JDBC , JPA / Hibernate
  • Good 5-8+ years of microservices development experience using REST API & SOAP web services
  • Rest API documentation using RAML , OAS & Swagger
  • Experience in TDD/BDD.
  • Good 1-3+ years of cloud experience with openshift,Docker & AWS cloud
  • Good 1-3+ years of working knowledge of tools like SonarQube, Veracode,Jenkins, Jprofiler, Jmeter,Maven, Gradle, GIT,stash & Gitlab etc,
  • Good 1-3+ years of working knowledge of Agile development using Jira/Agile Central, Confluence
  • Good 1-3+ years of working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD
  • Good 1-3+ years of working knowledge of SQL basics, Oracle, MangoDB & mariaDB 
  • Good 1-3+ years of working knowledge of Unix/ linux scripting  
  • Hands on knowledge of associated technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring-JMS, Spring-Data
  • Must have strong skill in Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming and System integration.
  • Ability to draw upon professional concepts to collaborate with others to carry out assigned duties.
  • Ability to recognize problems related to team’s objectives / deliveries and to apply creativity / judgment to professional, technical or operational problems.
  • Ability to coordinate activities of less experienced or less knowledgeable team members.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

  • BE, MCA or equivalent
  • Experience of working within Financial Services
  • RDBMS development experience (e.g. Oracle) & SQL skills
  • Experience of using the Git source code control system
  • Experience of developing software for multiple Operating Systems (e.g. Linux, Windows)
  • Experience of working within a regulatory driven change environment
  • Experience of working on  Nexus, Groovy,
  • Experience of using test automation tools (e.g. Selenium) ), Performance Test tool(eg.,Jmeter)
  • Experience in test plans and test documentations, ensuring bi directional traceability matrix
  • Manual Testing as required through Insomnia
  • Experience of using the Git source code control system
  • Experience of software development within the Payment Industry.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
