Embark on a transformative journey as IFC Data- Business Analyst- VP who will be accountable for shaping, owning and driving complex data requirements for enterprise Data Products, ensuring they deliver measurable business value while meeting regulatory, control and governance expectations.

The role provides strategic leadership across data‑driven initiatives, acting as a senior partner to business, technology and data teams, and ensuring that data products are defined, prioritized and delivered in a consistent, scalable and sustainable manner.

Key Responsibilities

Data Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the end‑to‑end business and data requirements strategy for one or more Data Product domains.

  • Define Data Product vision, scope, target outcomes and success metrics in partnership with senior stakeholders.

  • Drive prioritization and roadmap decisions based on business value, risk, and delivery feasibility.

Senior Business & Data Analysis

  • Lead complex business, functional and data requirement definition across multiple initiatives.

  • Ensure requirements are outcome‑focused, clearly articulated and aligned to strategic objectives.

  • Oversee the production and quality of key artefacts including BRDs, data requirement specifications, epics and user stories.

Data Discovery, Quality & Governance

  • Provide senior oversight of data discovery, profiling and gap analysis activities.

  • Ensure data requirements incorporate data quality, privacy, security, access and records management considerations.

  • Drive traceability from business objectives through to delivered data products.

Delivery Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a senior engagement lead across business, data and technology stakeholders.

  • Resolve complex requirement conflicts and trade‑offs across domains and consumers.

  • Guide and mentor AVP‑level and junior Business Analysts, setting standards and best practices.

Risk, Control & Change Management

  • Ensure data products support regulatory, audit and control expectations.

  • Lead impact assessments for change requests and enhancements.

  • Support go‑live approvals, benefits realization tracking and post‑implementation reviews.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst leading data‑driven or analytics initiatives.

  • Strong expertise in defining requirements for enterprise Data Products, data platforms or analytical solutions.

  • Proven ability to operate at senior stakeholder and VP‑level forums.

  • Deep understanding of data concepts, metrics, lineage and consumption patterns.

  • Strong leadership, decision‑making and influencing skills.

  • Experience working in highly regulated or control‑driven environments.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience shaping data product roadmaps or portfolios.

  • Exposure to data governance, data quality and regulatory programs.

  • Familiarity with agile delivery models at scale.

  • Experience supporting large‑scale data transformation or modernization initiatives.

Purpose of the role

To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities. 

Accountabilities

  • Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
  • Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
  • Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
  • Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
