To be successful in this role, you should have below skills:
Hands on experience supporting a Windows based production and development infrastructure.
Hands on experience in COBOL, CICS and SQL programming experience.
Hands on experience in supporting Micro Focus products.
Familiar with vendor technologies – Micro Focus, Rocket, Windows, OpenText, Mainframe.
Some other highly valued skills may include below:
Working knowledge of Windows System administration and security.
Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting such as writing code or scripts to scale down report problems into discrete components that replicate the problem, if the problem exists in a base form report to the vendors and look at possible workaround for teams.
Possess high level analytic skills to review logs, dumps and traces to determine if reported issues are user error, expected behavior or bugs.
Experience supporting 24x7 HA production environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in scripting languages.
Strong project planning and management skills.
Ability to work independently with limited guidance.
Available to provide on-call support during off-hours and weekends.
Available to provide support for weekend changes ad reoccurring activities.

This role is based in Pune office.
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, using hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing platforms as required with the aim of ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response.
