To be successful as a Java Developer, you should have experience with:
Java 8 and above, good experience in Core Java, multi-threading processing, RESTful API, Spring Batch, Microservices Architecture
In-depth Experience with Spring Boot and other Spring Frameworks such as Spring MVC, IOC, AOP, and Spring JDBC
Good experience in database design, SQL query optimization, and performance tuning.
Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and scripting.
Experience with GitLab, source control management, and CI/CD implementation.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitLab Duo, Microsoft Copilot, or Claude to accelerate software engineering activities.
Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, and production support activities.
Ensure adherence to engineering standards, security controls, and regulatory requirements.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
Maintain accurate technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Experience working on agile framework with iterative environment.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Banking, Payments, or Regulatory Reporting domain knowledge.
Understanding of enterprise application architecture and integration patterns.
Exposure to cloud platforms and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) is desirable.
Problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and written/oral communications skills.
Understanding of JIRA and Confluence process
Sound time management and organizational skills.

The role is based out of Pune.
