Join us as an NFT Performance Tester at Barclays where you will spearhead the evolution of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. To be successful as an NFT Performance Tester, you should have experience with:

  • Performance Testing Expertise, Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling), Load, stress, and volume testing methodologies, Performance bottleneck identification and improvement, performance reporting.

  • Java/Spring Boot application testing, API testing.

  • Test automation using Playwright, Cucumber, Karate, Selenium, and Cypress. Basics of CI/CD Devops either Jenkins or any other tool.

  • Test Management using JIRA.

  • Agile ways of working.

  • Soft skills – excellent communication skills who can collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Must have working knowledge of Oracle databases.

  • Must have an extensive working knowledge of HP Load Runner with Web and JAVA protocols.

  • Must have experience on Mobile and Client side NFT

  • Must have a working knowledge of JIRA, AppDynamics & Kibana

  • Must have worked in Cloud Platform.

  • Must be able to understand JAVA code and understand data structure algorithm.

  • MUST have working knowledge in 1-2 Performance engineering, Profiling\tuning tools.

  • Performance Testing Expertise, Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling) , Load, stress, and volume testing methodologies, Performance monitoring and bottleneck identification techniques.

  • Technical Stack Proficiency, Java/Spring Boot application testing, Database testing (SQL optimization, transaction integrity), API testing and microservices architecture understanding Message queue testing 

  • Test Frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium.

  • Must have extensive experience in scoping / designing performance tests on several different technologies.

  • Must have extensive experience in running, capturing results, analysis, reporting and diagnose issues of performance tests.

  • Should effectively planning and problem-solving skills and are able to actively discuss, develop and promote best practices to project teams

Good to Have:

  • Familiarity with Xcode and Android Studio, including build and signing configurations. 

  • Hands-on experience with JIRA dashboards and reporting. 

  • Should be able to work individually and as part of a cross functional team including technology resources.

  • Should be delivery focused attitude

Purpose of the role

To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and implementation of comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Creation and execution automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools to facilitate early detection of defects and quality issues.         .
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria, ensuring a thorough understanding of the software being tested.
  • Root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution.
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations, and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
