To be successful as a “PMO MI & Tableau Developer", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

  • Expert proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. (5 – 6 Years)

  • Advanced Level proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to various audiences.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes using Tableau Prep, SQL, or other ETL tools.

  • Deep understanding of data literacy and data visualization best practices.

  • Experience with connecting to various data sources (e.g., MS SQL Server, MS Excel, MS Access, SharePoint integration).

  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts.

  • Builds and assures Tableau MI that accurately represents financial performance (e.g., forecast, actuals, and variances)

  • Owns variance logic and commentary enablement within dashboards, designing measures that clearly explain drivers of movement (forecast vs actual vs target)

  • Partners effectively with Finance, PMO, and Markets Post Trade stakeholders to translate financial requirements into actionable metrics and dashboards—clarifying “what the numbers mean,” how they’re derived, and what decisions they should inform

  • Enables confident decision‑making through transparent reporting by surfacing exceptions, highlighting emerging trends, and ensuring timely updates to forecasts/actuals views—supporting portfolio governance and controlled delivery in a Markets environment

  • Minimum Qualification – bachelor’s degree.

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, cleanse, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns related to IT related risk and controls.

  • Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, adhering to best practices for data visualization and user experience.

  • Data Integration: Connect to various data sources (e.g., MS SQL Server, MS Access, APIs etc.) and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Tableau Prep or other relevant tools.

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, translate those requirements into technical specifications, and develop effective visualizations that address their specific business requirements.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with managers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and provide data-driven insights.

This role will be based out of Pune.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
