Hybrid Working 
Structured hybrid role:    
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.  We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction 

Acting as a Salesforce Solution Architect, you are responsible for providing salesforce solutions to business problems applying the architectural framework as laid down by the enterprise architecture team. In this role you will:

•    Collaborate with programmer analysts, architects, end to end designers, business stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements. 
•    Analyze requirements and architecture vision, to propose Salesforce and/or design solutions as required.
•    Ensure all assumptions, dependencies and design considerations are documented, reviewed, and approved by the Central Design Authority. 
•    Understand the Barclays governance framework and adhere the guidelines and principles (e.g. Cyber, Data, Enterprise Architecture, etc.) laid down. 
•    Contribute to the delivery planning by providing high level estimates.
•    Work independently to elicit, validate and document systems requirements in either BRDs or user/feature stories depending on the SDLC in use by the development teams.
•    Mitigate risks to Business through timely and precise implementation of Automation & performance tests under direct supervision.
•    Effectively transition designs to the build and testing teams, support where needed during the build phase.
•    Must be willing to mentor team members and provide technical / functional assistance.
•    Support the proactive ORG/application management by contributing to problem resolution.
•    Provide support to the Lead Business Analyst, helping to define analysis approach in line with the strategic vision of the programme and the preferred methodology of the organisation
•    Generate High level design documents along with end to end flow diagrams

What will you be doing?
•    Propose feasible, scalable and maintainable Salesforce  solution that meet business goals
•    Engage relevant design authorities to review and approve the solution proposed
•    Ensure the solution is compliant to the defined control framework
•    Decompose the solution, including risk stories into manageable tasks to be picked by build teams
•    Support delivery managers in estimation and planning
•    Provide design assurance by periodic review of the build activity
•    Own Org level designs initiatives / activities and impact assessments. Work with Salesforce PA, Salesforce CIO teams on Salesforce out of the box functionality to be leveraged
•    Contributing and review of impact assessments of Salesforce upgrades.
•    Own and maintain Org level Data Model. Providing design assurance by providing design sign off for Data Model changes.
•    Own and maintain Org level integration catalogue, Data dictionary, reusable component catalogue
•    Own and document new integration / design patterns.
•    Design assurance for Org level security config level changes.
•    Collaborate with Salesforce Orgs outside GMO to understand Salesforce out of the box capabilities leveraged to meet requirements. Share & learn from different teams.
•    Updating checklists with new Salesforce release updates - Design, Security, Data, Enterprise.
•    Contribute to keep upgraded design principles, design checklist
•    Collaborate effectively with Salesforce India Product team and be appraised about the upcoming features and functionalities
•    

What we’re looking for:
•    Proficient in building solutions using Salesforce Service cloud. Strong Salesforce development and design skills including: Apex, Lightning, SOQL, Process Builder, Flow and other standard and advanced Salesforce automation tools
•    10+ years of implementation experience
•    Certified Salesforce Application Architect / System Architect
•    Capable to capture requirements from Business Analysts and occasionally directly from the users.
•    Understanding of Agile SDLC Methodologies; Understanding of Scrum/Kanban Agile SDLC methodology
•    Excellent written & oral communication skills
