To be successful Salesforce Engineer , you should have experience with:
Apex (classes, triggers, async) with SOQL/SOSL and bulk‑safe patterns; strong debugging and unit testing.
Lightning Web Components (LWC) and modern JS for reusable, performant front‑end components.
Flows & declarative automation (migrations from Process Builder/Workflow where applicable).
Integrations using REST/SOAP, Platform Events, Named Credentials; Workbench/Postman familiarity.
DevOps & Releases: SFDX/CLI, Git, Change Sets, CI/CD exposure (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
Security & Data: profiles, permission sets, OWD/sharing; data loads with Data Loader.
Comfortable with Agile/Scrum, Jira/Azure Boards, code reviews, and documentation.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Aura/Visualforce for legacy maintenance; Experience Cloud exposure.
Packaging basics (unlocked/2GP), scratch‑org workflows; awareness of recent Salesforce release changes (DX, TypeScript in LWC, Scale Center).
Basic API/middleware patterns (External Objects/Salesforce Connect); event‑driven designs.
BI/analytics familiarity (Reports/Dashboards; optional CRM Analytics).
Certifications (e.g., PD1/PD2, Admin, App Builder) preferred.

The role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
