Join us as a Senior Software Engineer at Barclays, where you'll take part in the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. As a part of the team, you will deliver technology stack, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand the business requirements and deliver quality solutions. You'll be working on complex technical problems that will involve detailed analytical skills and analysis. This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders.
To be successful as a Senior Software Engineer, you should have experience with:
Good SQL knowledge and TWS expertise.
Candidates should possess strong expertise in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Chef, GitLab, Nexus.
Strong exposure in scripting skill- PL/SQL, Unix shell / Python would be an added advantage.
Experience in config and Implementation activities.
Strong Knowledge of cloud infrastructure management and automation technologies (Chef, Terraform etc.).
Strong knowledge of scripted and declarative Jenkins pipeline.
Expected to implement and maintain automation scripts using shell or Python to support the build and deployment processes.
