To be successful as a “Senior Penetration Tester ", you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Must have bachelor’s degree or Degree in business, engineering, science or other numerate discipline.
Web applications, APIs, mobile & Thick Clients
Infrastructure and networks
Virtualization and container platforms
Cloud‑native architectures
Proficient in Penetration testing in at least 5 of following technical domains. ( Web based Applications/ APIs, Network/Infrastructure, Mobile Apps, Thick clients, MCPs/AI Agents/LLMs, Cloud environments and Kubernetes)
Understanding of the security mechanisms associated with Applications, Operating Systems, Networks, Databases, Virtualisation, Cloud technologies, AI
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
AI/LLM‑driven systems and next‑generation MCP environments
Beyond hands‑on penetration testing, you will influence strategic security direction, ensure threat‑aligned coverage of critical systems, and partner closely with teams such as Vulnerability Management, Application Security, CTEM, BU CISOs/BISOs, and senior technology
Some other highly valued skills may include:
OSCP/OSEP/OSWE/GPEN/GxPN or equivalent pentesting certifications
Knowledge of development in at least 1 language
Familiarity and experience with key industry frameworks such as OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK/CTID, CISA Secure-by-Design, etc
This role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To identify potential vulnerabilities within the banks IT systems using penetration testing tools and techniques to ensure security of computer systems, applications, servers, and networks.
