Explore locationJoin us as a UI Developer at Barclays where you will spearhead the evolution of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will harness cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our digital solutions.
To be successful as a UI Developer, you should have experience with:
Expert in BDD/Gherkin (Cucumber, Selenium) and UI automation frameworks using Java, with ability to design scalable E2E test solutions across MQ, Kafka, and file-based integration patterns.
Strong functional testing across ST/SIT/E2E with robust defect management, test strategy design for distributed systems in regulated banking environments, aligned to Agile and STLC best practices, and proficiency in JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
Deep knowledge of Trade Finance (LC, Bank Guarantees, SWIFT messaging) with proven ability to define quality gates, drive shift-left practices, and lead testing teams through complex transformation programs.
Desirable skills:
Experience with AI/ML tools for test optimization, intelligent test generation, and predictive analytics to improve efficiency and coverage .
Exposure to testing complex environments combining SaaS platforms and internally built applications with hands-on experience in Kafka, Spring, OpenShift, Angular, and Corporate Banking systems.
Expertise in ETL testing capabilities, MongoDB experience, API automation, test environment management, and performance testing using JMeter/LoadRunner.
