To be successful as a Test Automation Engineer , you should have experience with:
Strong Java and Selenium scripting skill, experience in Test cases writing in Cucumber / Gherkin.
Strong Knowledge of SQL Queries.
Strong Knowledge on creating stubs to simulate responses.
Good Knowledge on GIT, Maven, Jenkins.
Awareness with various messaging formats (XML, SWIFT, Scheme).
Knowledge of Software Engineering lifecycle, Core processes/techniques using different approaches, Documentation skills and Governance practices.
Knowledge of Agile estimation techniques approaches and processes.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Any Degree, preferably in computer science.
Experience of the financial sector, specifically Payments.
Experience of any Core Banking applications and Payment Processing Application (Preferably Global Pay Plus).

The role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
