Explore locationThe primary purpose of role is to create capacitybyleadingthe co-ordination of risk management and oversight forexisting Relationship Teams and ensuringall risk items remain on track, allowing remainder of the team to be more proactive in driving sustainable growth (sales).This role is operational risk support as opposed to strategic risk decision making required at Counterparty / Fiduciary level. Any commercial decisions for maintaining relationships sit with the Relationship Directors in the cell to ensure commercially viable relationships.
Core activities include:
Ownership of the end-to-end risk activity for the cell, specifically:
HR/PEP Reviews
Increased Risk Reviews (for triggers only, BPs will still be responsible for new account Increased Risk Reviews)
Trigger Management
Credit Management
Risk Remediation Tasks
Counterparty activities including Document Retrieval testing and preparation of annual and full assessments*
*Counterparty Assessments –Relationship Directors are expected to review and attest to the outputs of the Annual Risk Assessment and Full Assessments to ensure suitable oversight of strategic relationship(s).
The role holder will require focus to motivate and inspire others in Consistently Excellent risk management through clear communication and effective use of training and coaching skills. The role holder will share knowledge and best practice, supporting as required through consultation. Support in training, coaching, and mentoring to embed and enhance Risk knowledge and awareness of colleagues.
