Explore locationWe are seeking a high‑quality professional to join the MEPS+ Settlements team within Singapore Branch Operations. This role requires a strong business mindset, analytical capability, relationship‑building skills, and programme management discipline to support the continued build‑out of the function and the achievement of broader department and firm‑wide objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple business areas and key stakeholders across Trading, Finance, Operations, and Technology, playing an active role in shaping a function that sits at the centre of industry development and regulatory focus within financial services.
The role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of trades across Singapore Government Bonds, Repo, Money Market, and FX products, including monitoring exceptions, lifecycle events, and end‑of‑day settlement controls. You will ensure all activities and client interactions are conducted professionally and in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal Barclays policies. The position also involves managing client queries and complaints with tact, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, cross‑training across wider Operations functions, and acting as a subject‑matter or product champion where required. Desirable experience includes securities settlements, MEPS+, SWIFT messaging, and the effective adoption of modern AI tools to drive efficiency and quality.
