As a summer intern, you’ll spend the summer learning about the market as well as Barclays’ global businesses, products and services. You will will join one of our Sales and Trading desks in one of the following areas:
• Financial resource management
• Client strategy
• Credit
• Equities
• Equity financing
• Foreign exchange
• Rates
• Structuring

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this programme, you must be pursuing an undergraduate degree with anticipated completion between December 2025 - June 2026.
Ideally, you would also have a GPA of 3.2 or above and a keen interest in business and finance and a curiosity to learn. We value resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirt, all of which might be showcased through your involvement in extracurricular activities.

Purpose of the role
To participate in the day-to-day activities of the markets division providing insights and expertise that help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities.
