Explore locationThis is an exciting opportunity to join Barclays as an experienced Analyst within the Market Post Trade Technology team in Japan. In this role, you will work closely with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams, as well as global technology partners, to deliver key initiatives spanning regulatory change, control enhancements, and operational support. You will contribute to the standardisation of Global Markets post trade processes and play a critical role in strengthening our control environment and advancing our technology strategy. This position offers a strong platform to deepen your expertise across a wide range of financial products, front to back trade flows, and Japan specific market infrastructure. To be successful, you will bring prior experience in post trade functions within banking, exposure to multiple asset classes (FX, Rates, Equities, Prime, FIF), and knowledge of core post trade processes such as settlements, reporting, confirmations, asset servicing, and trade validation. Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese as well as a solid understanding of Japan’s local market, regulatory landscape, and domestic settlement and reporting frameworks is essential. You will be a proactive self starter who thrives in a fast paced environment, demonstrates strong communication, documentation, influencing, and cross team leadership skills, and can apply core technical capabilities across trading systems, platforms, and infrastructure.
