Explore locationJoin Barclays Canada as an Investment Bank Diversified Industries, Associate, where you advise clients on a wide range of strategic transactions. You will have the opportunity to conduct industry research, evaluate key trends and opportunities. The Diversified Industries Group and Mergers & Acquisitions develop financial models, valuations and manages the execution of transactions. You will prepare and deliver presentations to clients and senior leadership, while nurturing and building strong relationships with other industry professionals.
To be successful as an Investment Bank Diversified Industries, Associate, you should have:
Previous relevant experience as well as deep understanding of the DIG sector or M&A experience
Proven track record of executing transactions, client management and demonstrated leadership ability in guiding and training the juniors of the team are traits highly favored by the team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in finance or related field along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience originating deals in the DIG or M&A space, identifying potential clients and/or opportunities
Previous stakeholder management experience
Exposure to conferences and industry events
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Toronto, Canada.
Salary CAD 220K to CAD 270K
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
