In this role, you’ll work as part of a globally distributed development team building desktop trading applications used by equities desks across New York, London, and APAC. You’ll contribute to the development of high-volume trading systems, focusing on performance, stability, and usability for electronic trading users.
To be successful as a Senior Application Developer, you should have experience with:
Developing C# applications using .NET WinForms and WPF
Building GUI applications using MVP or MVVM design patterns
Applying data structures and algorithms in performance-sensitive systems
Profiling memory usage and improving application performance
Writing and maintaining unit tests
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Familiarity with HTML5
Experience with JavaScript
Exposure to modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
