To be successful as a Senior Production Support Engineer – AVP, you should have:
Deep practical knowledge in Linux/Unix along with shell scripting and expertise in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Proficiency in database management of Big Database – Data Bricks, Hadoop or other warehouse technologies
Excellent knowledge about scheduling tools like AutoSys and monitoring and observability tools like Geneos ITRS
Deeper understanding about Incident, Problem and Change Management processes
Ability to solve highly complex problems swiftly and navigating through multiple incidents simultaneously
Other highly valued skills include:
Work hand-in-hand with development teams to ensure speed and stability
Highly focused to ensure mission critical applications are available uninterruptedly, performant, and resilient through proactive response
Craft innovative solutions leveraging latest technologies to reduce toil, automate repetitive tasks
Leverage metrics and SLOs (Service Level Objectives) to drive decisions which improves stability.
Ensure scalability of the applications through automated processes and avoid manual intervention in production environment

This role is located in our Whippany, NJ office.
Minimum Salary: $115,000
Maximum Salary: $160,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

This position is eligible for an incentive award.
Purpose of the role
To effectively monitor and maintain the bank’s critical technology infrastructure and resolve more complex technical issues, whilst minimising disruption to operations.
