The AVP of Risk Management role resides in 2nd line of defense and will be responsible for portfolio analytics and oversight to enhance the risk policy and strategy and drive resilient growth of USCB portfolio. Your position plays key role within Chief Risk Office as it is responsible for managing risk, risk/reward tradeoff and customers risk assessment throughout the life cycle.
To be successful as an AVP - Risk Lead you should have experience with:
Identifying key areas of opportunities and working with 1st line of defense to address it
Analyzing and measuring exposure to credit risk, including performing end-to-end statistical and analytical evaluations to optimize portfolio performance
Evaluating data using statistical analysis techniques such as decision trees, optimization procedures, loss forecasting, enhanced process monitoring, and data quality analyses
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Prior financial services/banking experience
Understanding of regulatory requirements
Analytical software tools such as SAS and SQL
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills
This role is located in the Wilmington, Delaware office.
Purpose of the role
To manage and optimise the bank's overall credit risk exposure by monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the creditworthiness of its lending portfolio.
