Your internship starts with intensive training that gives you an essential platform for gaining skills and knowledge. Then you’ll head to your desk, where you’ll get to grips with the intricacies of the global markets and follow a structured programme that includes project-based work.

Following initial training, you’ll join our expert team for an extended period, helping deliver intricate solutions across a wide range of projects over an extended internship. Your work will be highly technical, and you’ll build your understanding of the models, products and technologies associated with a particular business or risk function. You’ll work on a real, unique project with real impact on our business.

You’ll have completed or be working towards PhD or Masters in a technical discipline such as Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or similar. Logical thinking, problem solving, mathematical and programming skills (C++, Python) are all essential. You’ll be great at communicating and collaborating – motivated by pace and pressure and driven to achieve and search for the best solution. You’ll also be ready to develop a deep understanding of what we do, why we do it, and how your role impacts on our business outcomes.
