To be successful as a Engineering Infrastructure/DevOps Lead you should have experience with:
Experience/Knowledge of,
Operating systems - Unix/Linux
Shell & PowerShell scripting
Relational Database, preferably Oracle DB Server
Application/Web server, preferably JWS Tomcat & Spring boot framework.
Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) tools like Chef, Ansible
Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, ESaaS
Messaging technologies, preferably IBM MQ, Kafka
Experience working with OpenShift Container Platform & AWS
Implement monitoring and analytics to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize the systems.
Manage & drive the DevOps pipeline that supports the application lifecycle across the DevOps toolchain – from planning, coding & building, to testing, to staging, to PROD release.
Conversant into framing out the deployment strategy for deploying the artifacts
Experience of tools like Bitbucket, Nexus, Jenkins/Gitlab & Nolio.
Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Infra/DevOps team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Facilitate positive engagement and collaboration between multiple parties including key internal & external stakeholders. Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Compliance and Security - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, and implement security measures to protect infrastructure and data.
Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
Strategic Thinking - Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for strategic initiatives.

Industry-Specific Knowledge - Experience in a financial services/ FinCrime domain will be beneficial.
Cloud Platform Expertise - Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS.
Understanding of containerization and orchestration - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

This role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, using hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing platforms as required with the aim of ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response.
