In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing Barclays’ business strategy across the market. You’ll take ownership of building and nurturing high-value relationships with clients, leveraging your established business network to identify growth opportunities and deliver strategic financial solutions. As a self-starter, you’ll thrive in a dynamic environment, proactively engaging with internal and external stakeholders to drive business development and contribute to our corporate three-year growth plan.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to manage competing priorities and deliver tailored strategies that align with both market demands and Barclays’ long-term objectives. This is a customer-facing role where your ability to influence, connect, and lead will be key to success.
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
Strong business development experience.
Proven track record of running a successful business strategy.
Established business network within relevant markets.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across internal and external communities.
Desirable Skills/Preferred Qualifications:
Recent exposure to target market sectors.
Experience in commercial lending.
Knowledge of international trade finance.
