Explore locationJoin us as an Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Finance Control team by managing the wide projects including Legal entity reporting. At Barclays, we don't just adapt to the future - we create it. You will also be responsible for supporting the In-Business Cost team for outputs which feeds into Group Reporting, Senior Management Reviews, Cost Review Decks and Investor Relations Review.
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
CA and/or MBA graduates with strong academic record and 3+ years’ experience in Accounting / Finance function.
Experience in Financial Reporting, Control, Planning or Analytics is desirable.
Prior experience, if any in a month-end or quarter-end focused reporting role or control environment based or finance automation skillset based.
Knowledge and understanding of the key accounting principle.

This role will be based out of Chennai.
Purpose of the role
To provide financial expertise and support to specific business units or departments within the organisation, and act as a liaison between the finance function and various business units, helping to bridge the gap between financial data and business decisions.
