To be successful as a “LIQ - QA Test Engineer", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

  • Test case development, and execution across manual and automated testing
  • Experience inQAAutomation andShiftLeftmethodology-Implement andmaintainautomated testing frameworks and tools
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and quality assurance methodologies
  • Establish testing standards, best practices, and metrics for measuring quality
  • Liaison between Stakeholders -technical teamand stakeholders.
  • Exposure on NFT testing (JMeter/ LoadRunner) isa plus
  • Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage defect tracking and resolution processes
  • Conduct risk assessments and prioritize testing efforts accordingly
  • 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, security)
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools(likeCucumber,RightClicketc)
  • Knowledge ofJIRA,CI/CDpracticesand DevOps principles
  • Experiencewith Java-based applications and microservicestesting
  • Experience with API testing and integration testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

  • Report on quality metrics and testing progress to stakeholders
  • Finance experiencepreferred - loanservicingexperience strongly preferred
  • Experience inmanaging QAcycleand automation framework- preferred
  • Knowledge of Loan IQproductis a plus
  • knowledge ofsyndication/origination is a plus
  • Experience on a team using Agile project management strongly preferred
  • Good experiencewith automated unit testing and TDD strongly preferred.

This role will be based out of Chennai.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
