To be a successful Product Developer, you should have experience with:

•       Understand, shape and transform data, to produce meaningful insights from a broad range of HR data sources and systems

•       Apply automation techniques which will facilitate quick and accurate processes for data extraction, transformation and output (ETL)

•       Gain a quick understanding of the problem statement, translating the desired approach into a feasible and robust technical solution

•       Have a good understanding of data and metrics across a broad range of HR functions

Some other highly valued skills may include:

•       Be able to communicate a technical response to a non-technical audience

•       Excellent communication skills across a broad range of business areas and experience levels  

•       Works well within a team, taking ownership of solutions whilst supporting colleagues across the team and wider business

•       Willing to lean new technologies, promoting and supporting the cross-training and upskilling of the wider team

 Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

•      Advanced Excel

•      Data Automation (Power Query, VBA, macros, etc.)

•      ETL and relational data structures (SQL, data integrity, etc.)

•      Data and reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

•      Any exposure to either Qlik Sense and/or Workday would be a bonus

•      MS Power Platform exposure (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.)

Location: Chennai

Purpose of the role

To transform raw data into useful and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the bank. 

Accountabilities

  • Delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions including multi-dimensional database models, data marts, data warehousing, data transforms, data analytics, and reporting solutions, to support the decision-making processes across the bank.
  • Execution of data extraction, cleansing and maintenance initiatives from a range of resources including internal systems, external data bases and market feeds.
  • Development of data models, dashboards and reports to clearly communicate the banks key business KPIs, performance, trends, and relationships to various levels of management within the bank.
  • Provision of responses and solutions to business requests for data analysis by building custom queries and reports to address specific questions and problems.
  • Monitoring KPIs against established objectives and benchmarks to identify trends, patterns and anomalies that may impact the banks performance and provide recommendations to improve highlighted processes.
  • Collaboration with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions through new technologies and tools that are compliment with the banks objectives, regulatory requirements, and data governance policies.
  • Continual improvement and automation of reporting and metric provision across Technology.
