UAT Planning and Execution Lead

Step into the role of UAT Planning and Execution Lead at Barclays, where you'll provide first-class support by conducting in-depth due diligence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding our clients and organization with expertise and care.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:

UAT Planning:

• Works with Business BA to define the UAT E2E test scenarios.

• Scripting of Test Script/s Documenting and approval of test scripts.

• Identification of Test Data Setup.

• Reviews UAT test scripts and ensure quality and sufficient test coverage.

• Responsible for End to end management of UAT phase.

UAT Execution:

• Executes complex test scenarios during execution and provide signoff.

• Manage UAT Testers during UAT Scripting and execution and answer their queries.

• Responsible for Management of the UAT Observations.

• Interact with different stakeholders and SME’s to help coordinate UAT phase.

• Strong Business Knowledge of the domain.

UAT Reporting:

• Planning – documenting and tracking Design Queries.

• Daily UAT Status Reports, tracking testing & Defects.

Automation:

• Work Experience in Selenium and Cucumber is an added advantage.

Risk & Control:

• Ensuring Approvals for Test Scripts and other Artefacts are archived.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge in End to end KYC process – Refresh and Onboarding is a must.

• Should have worked in testing projects extensively.

• You must have good People management skills.

• Banking and Financial Crime experience is preferred, especially on KYC Onboarding.

This role is based out of Chennai.

Purpose of the role

To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures. 

Accountabilities

• Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
• Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.
• Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
• Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
• Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.
• Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
