Embark on a transformative journey as VP – Controls Business Partnering, where you'll responsible to provide independent insurance on control processes and advise on improvements to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the bank’s internal controls framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the annual RCSA effort for global Product Control, including activities like CERPA.
Proactively monitor BCF requirements on Risk Issues , Risk Events, including timely monitoring and management of breaches.
Partner with senior stakeholders in Product Control in driving the risks and controls agenda including but not limited to partnering on transformation programs to advise on controls impact, support through BIA and other assurance reviews and outcomes, support controls remediation through ICPs and ACPs.
Uplift talent and build the right skill sets and capability within the team.
To be successful as a VP – Controls Business Partnering, you should have:
Professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor).
Progressive experience in internal audit, controls assurance & testing, or a related discipline with a similar remit on control.
Deep knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), risk management, and business process analysis.
Proven track record of managing complex audits/ reviews and delivering actionable recommendations.
Strong business partnering experience in the related stream.
Proficiency in audit management software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and organizational integrity.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience in a BIG 4 audit firm or in-house internal audit / Sox programme at a major financial institution.
Strong working knowledge of control framework for high complexity areas.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
The location of the role is Chennai, IN.
