Explore locationThe Director, Head of Fiduciaries, Isle of Man will lead and performance manage a team of Relationship Directors, Relationship Managers and Relationship Risk Managers which services some of the most valuable clients in Barclays. The team do this by providing these clients with a full range of Financial Services solutions. The successful candidate will be the leading face to the Fiduciary market in Isle of Man, where we see a genuine opportunity to build upon our existing market leadership and be responsible for driving business development and leading on strategic names in a player manager capacity. The role-holder is responsible for coordinating the delivery of a compelling service model to our clients, through Relationship Managers and Investment, Cash management and Treasury specialists.
Working with the UKCD Head of Fiduciaries, the role-holder will drive the overall strategy, balanced scorecard and performance of the Fiduciaries business and will be part of the Fiduciaries leadership team. The role holder will be accountable for achievement of revenue, asset and liability targets and will partner with technical experts and product specialists as needed. The role will establish long-term, internal and external, relationships that are effective across the local markets to drive delivery of the respective strategies and establish opportunities for further growth.
The role will support the ongoing maintenance and development of the Fiduciary proposition. This requires an ability to influence senior stakeholders across Barclays Group and to create compelling business models for growth.
The role holder will also be a member of the Isle of Man Country Management Committee (“CMC”) which accountabilities is detailed in the Isle of Man CMC Terms of Reference. This membership would be seen as a regulated role as per Isle of Man regulations.
The role holder will also be an accredited endorser with accountability as detailed in the Private Bank CDD procedures.
The role Holder will also be a member of the Offshore Business Acceptance Committee.
The role holder will also become a member of the Credit Risk Committee.
The role holder will also be a member of the Risk Oversight & Control Forum.
Purpose of the role
To manage relationship management initiatives and set the strategic direction. Provide support to the bank's senior management team, and to manage product development risk across the organisation.
