Explore locationJoin us at Barclays as a Governance & Risk Analystand work in conjunction with the rest of the BIPL team and wider Barclaycard teams to produce accurate, timely and innovative management information and insights to support business management and governance. To continually identify areas of improvement and drive both improved efficiency and quality of outputs.To support the CEO and wider business in day-to-day processes, including projects and other change initiatives.
Essential skills/Basic Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to explain and report complex and detailed topics in a simple manner
Practical experience of using analytics to solve complex business problems
Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders regardless of organisational position
Keen understanding of business issues and a demonstrated skill in working with diverse stakeholders
Ability to recognise, anticipate, and suggest solutions to issues and problems in a timely manner
Proactive, organised and motivated individual able to plan and prioritise own workload with minimum supervision
Strong attention to detail, and a real commitment to delivering high quality outputs which are right first time
Fluency on MS Office products

Knowledge of payment acceptance
Project management experience
This role is based in Dublin

This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
Purpose of the role
To provide data-led expert oversight and check and challenge on business and compliance matters to evidence that the organisation is operating in a compliance with Barclays legal, regulatory and ethical responsibilities.
